Complete test kit for testing copper in the ECOsmarte pool or spa.  Includes copperA, copper B, test tube and color chart.

Instructions:

1.  Fill test tube with pool water to black line. Be sure to take sample from a level 18" or more below the surface of the water. Also, avoid samples near the skimmer and return-jets.

2.   Add five (5) drops of Copper Reagent A to the water in the test tube. Put the plastic cap on and turn the tube over to mix.

3.   Remove cap and add five (5) drops of Copper Reagent B to the water in the test tube.  Put the plastic cap on and turn over to mix.

4.  Remove the plasic cap and place the tube tube in the test-kit holder. Allow to stand for approximately two minutes.

5.   To read results:  hold the tube vertically, place the color chart 1/2" underneath the test tube. Look directly down into the length of the test tube at a white portion of the color chart.  Match the shade of blue and record in parts per million. 

 

ALWAYS test and adjust, if needed, the pH before testing the copper.  If the pH is out of the 6.8 - 7.2 range the copper test will be inaccurate.
